They are both K-2, possibly 3.
The communities file has a link to the CA state standards in the attachments, as well as which ones are targeted on an introduction page. The lesson is meant as to review the the definition of community, look at different types of communities and compare them, know the basic needs of humans, differentiate needs from wants, the reasons for rules and laws, and the use of direct and indirect democracies to create the rules and laws.
I just added a link for the CA state standards in the math lesson, but don't have them specifically listed in the slides. (I've attached the new version.) This lesson works on matching shapes to their names, on the rules for polygons, and tangram manipulation. It includes links to CA state standards, as well as interactive websites that go with the lessons.
Thanks again!

I still don't have the Smart board installed completely. It's been a bit frustrating, but I've been told that by the end of next week it will be ready to go. Our tech. dept. has gotten bogged down trying to get all of the Smart boards installed in the district. As soon as mine is up, believe me the world will know:)
The district I work in is proudly working towards a mounted SMART Board and mounted projector in every instructional classroom. We are close to 80% complete at this point in the school year. We have ~80 Senteo sets across the district as well, with teachers making more and more use of them each day!
Thanks, its a redfish that I caught in Florida on recent spring break trip. All my fishing is with a fly rod. I am a licensed fishing outfitter in Montana guiding fly fishermen in the summer for trout on the Missouri River.
Do you fish?
Thanks! I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questions & comments as soon as my Smartboard is up and running.
