Themes are now grouped with Backgrounds. Click on main Gallery Essentials folder and you should see "Themes and Backgrounds" folder below.

I have an older version of Notebook on both my MAC and Windows computers. I contacted CCS Presentation Systems, a SMART trainer on Twitter and found out that SMART has put the themes into the "Gallery Essentials" section of the latest Notebook software. It is amazing to see the power of Twitter or this Ning networking when you have a question.

I'm running 10.0.346.2, and did the uninstall/reinstall deal. The options are no longer grayed out under Format >Themes but still no themes in the Gallery. The wrench only lets me update either the Lesson Activiy toolkit or the Gallery Essentials, and no updates are available. Hmmm.... sounds like I need to find all of the files that hang around even after an uninstall before a second reinstall. At least I can create Themes now, that much is good.

What version of the SMART software are you using? I have the latest, but no Themes in Gallery and under Format > Themes > both options are grayed out.
