I have helped individual teachers K-12 learn how to use the airliner or SMART Slate. It does take practice to learn the hand eye coordination of where your cursor is. Typically middle and high school students can use it better than many teachers.

I am asking on behalf of a colleague. I wasn't sure if you could, so I thought I would put it on here to see if anyone could either think of how you could--or have seen it! :) I think she wants to actually project the iPod touch as you would a normal computer. Not sure. Also, speaking of the SMART Slate, have you ever trained your staff on using it? And how easily have they adapted to it--because I know the orientation of it, as far as where you are touching and where it is appearing on the screen, can be difficult for most. Thanks Obe for answering my questions-I appreciate it!

What would you like your ipod touch to do? Show Notebook files on your ipod? Show the same Notebook file on the SMART Board as on your ipod? How would it be similar or different from the airliner or SMART Slate? Just curious.

yes, you can use apps like air mouse, touch mouse, hippoRemote, or mocha vnc etc. to remotely control your computer which thus controls what you see on your SMART Board.
