A Revolution in Education
I've just purchased a SMART document camera. I have been downloading 3D content from SMART Exchange and 3D warehouse in preparation to create some educational resources using 3D content. If any one would like to share and or swap resources/curriculum ideas that would be great. I have uploaded a basic video demonstration about what the 3D content looks like under the video section on this site.

Comment by Joanne Villis on December 16, 2012 at 3:43am I have been testing out new ways to integrate mixed reality (3D) content within my educational program. Lately I have been working on creating a website with my entire Year of spelling so that students and parents can access it online 24/7. During this process I thought it would be useful to integrate 3D content in order to assist ESL (English Second Language) students visualise new words. I have nearly 3 terms of Year 3 spelling available online to view and I have uploaded nearly a term's spelling list in video format. Eventually I am looking at uploading the Notebook documents, but this depends if there is an interest in this free resource. Welcome to have a look and let me know what you think: http://year3spellingjvillis.weebly.com Don’t forget to play the Voki avatar animations for page introductions and please note, Australian spelling, NapLan (refers to Australian National testing).
