SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

Have You Seen This One? Tip #4 from the SMART Notebook Gallery

Unlike some of the previous tools that I've brought attention to in previous blog posts, I'm guessing that the majority of you have already seen the spinner. But I'm willing to bet that many of you haven't experimented to discover that you can manipulate many of the properties of it to make the spinner work for various applications in your classroom.

For a full explanation of the customization options, as well as some ideas for how this can be used in the classroom, see my original post here.

For all of you that are finished another school year -- congrats! For those with a day or two left...you're almost there :) Happy summer holidays, everyone!!

Hi Karen,

I don't think you're able to customize the size of each piece, just the quantity of them.

I have not yet used the spinner in my classroom, but am always looking for ways to keep SMARTBoard interactive. I teach 5th grade all subjects. Can each piece be a different size? I do not have access to my Smartboard until August, so I can not play around with some of these ideas.
