I am building a modern classroom in my school library. I have 6 computers as stand up works station (stools to sit at) a docu camera, student response systems, 2 wireless tablets, 6 digital cameras, mini camcorders and 5 round tables for groups of 4 to 6 students. We have a web cam and a Wii with Wii fit and some other educational games.
I am just starting to run workshops for teachers to learn the technology and make connections between the technology and student learning and engagement.

Is there a way to "freeze" what is on the SMART Board so that students can be using it but the teacher can be using the computer for something else? If so, how?

I have created a customized Google search engine to help make it easier to find SMARTBoard Notebook files online. It searches over 110 websites including Smarttech and SMART Exchange's websites. I would love to add any websites that you know of that have Notebook files online. Email me any you have.
