Web Tools that support Smart Notebook

I would like to be able to post Notebook pages that I have created, so that students could access many from one, convenient site.  I've looked into Glogster and Prezi, but neither allows the Notebook interface.  Is anyone aware of a similar tool that would support Notebook data uploads?

Notebook 10.7 --Missing Color Palette Choices

Today I was helping the art teacher do an art project with my students inside of Notebook.  I went to show the students that once they were inside the properties tab and they selected the item they wanted to fill with color, they could go beyond the palette choices on the tab by clicking on "more".  However, when I clicked on "more" there was only the crayon box popping up.  I used to have 4 choices inside the "more" button--RGB color wheel, RGB sliders, crayon box and a landscape…

SMART Product User Guides

I just realized it's been waaaay too long since I updated my pseudo-blog on this website, so it's time to get back on track! I thought I'd start with a simple, but very useful post: how to find user guides for the myriad of SMART products.

Personally, I find that sometimes features change, or I don't use a particular aspect of a piece of SMART software for awhile, and when the time comes to recall how to do it, I find myself wasting valuable time playing around looking…

Have You Seen This One? Tip #4 from the SMART Notebook Gallery

Unlike some of the previous tools that I've brought attention to in previous blog posts, I'm guessing that the majority of you have already seen the spinner. Have You Seen This One? Tip #3 from the SMART Notebook Gallery

My main focus when working with teachers in SMART Board pd workshops is to help facilitate the creation of lessons that increase student interactivity and collaboration in the classroom. This easily goes well for the first few hours of the workshop...

But then reality sets in, as teachers consistently ask for 'tips and tricks' that help them gain that oh-so-elusive, yet valuable commodity: TIME.

And so I decided… Continue

SMART Exchange-Share your Notebook files with others

The SMART Exchange is an excellent website to search and find thousands of Notebook lessons as well as websites that anyone can download and use. I would highly recommend using the SMART Exchange on a regular basis to find Notebook lessons or websites.
