Lion and Notebook 10.8

Our District upgraded to Lion this summer and while we are all enjoying our beautiful new machines, we are experiencing some issues.  Has anyone worked with the camera feature and had their floating tool bar disappear?  Also, we are having issues reactivating our license--the trial version that we downloaded doesn't seem to accept our license code, so we keep reentering the same info.  Has anyone worked through this process yet and have ideas that they could share?  Thanks for any help you can… Continue

Clear a Table

I want to use a table for my morning calendar.  I like the way that the pieces snap into place.  How can I easily delete the contents at the end of the month?

Aegom Interactive

Hello all Smart Users!

   We are thinking about purchasing Aegom Interactives district-wide.  We can't really tell much about it with just the demos.   Is it worth the money?  How do those lessons compare to the Smart exchange lessons?

Two Job Possibilities Lost and Completely Humbled

I was awakened this morning at 8:37 by a call from my former assistant principal who left to be the principal of a K-8 district with two schools. She asked if I had time to stop by and talk to her and the superintendent about a technology job. Their person just quit out of the blue. I said I'd be there in an hour. Elevate the Problem



I attended the SMART Exemplary Educator Summit this July at the SMART HQ in Calgary. It was a great time of learning about what's coming from the company to giving them feedback on many of the products they now offer. One of the SMART Employees, Chris Klein, talked about "Elevating the problem." In other words, ramp up the problem and look for that solution instead of focusing on small problems and solutions. Web Tools that support Smart Notebook

I would like to be able to post Notebook pages that I have created, so that students could access many from one, convenient site.  I've looked into Glogster and Prezi, but neither allows the Notebook interface.  Is anyone aware of a similar tool that would support Notebook data uploads?
