I'm at the ICE conference in St. Charles, IL. Katie Daugrid, GinnyWashburne, and Brady Phillips. We will cover new software and hardware.
Heeeerrrr's Brady! SMART follows Wayne Gretzky's philosophy, don't look at the puck. Look where it is going. That is what SMART does. Yes, they look at the market today and provide solutions. However, they also believe in setting the trends.

I have created a customized Google search engine to help make it easier to find SMARTBoard Notebook files online. It searches over 110 websites including Smarttech and SMART Exchange's websites. I would love to add any websites that you know of that have Notebook files online. Email me any you have. Here are a couple I have in the database (http://smartboards.typepad.com/, http://almarolh.googlepages.com/, http://technology.usd259.org/resources/whiteboards/smartlessons.htm…

Can you store MS word, MS excel, or MS powerpoints in your "My Content" folder?
And can links be attached to backgrounds?

Have been using Smart Board for about 3 years. Since switching over from PC to Mac, occasionally the screen locks up or when writing, nothing appears on the board. Few seconds later, something appears but does not represent what I wrote previously. Any ideas on the solution to the problems?
Thanks

A huge hit in my classroom has been the New York Philharmonic "KidZone". They have wonderful games that are perfect for the SMART Board. Check it out, if you haven't already! http://www.nyphilkids.org/composition/main.phtml?

Recently my 6th grade students presented their interactive biome museums with great success. Now we are hot into a creative writing unit.

Looking forward to working 'hand 'n hand' with other SMART…

Does anyone know of a good site for kids books that I can download onto a MP4 player? I found the Robert Munsch site, which was great but I want variety!

I am not usually resistant to change but I am finding Senteo 2.0 less teacher friendly. It takes more time to get started (usually when you are pressed for time and want just a few questions to ask your students) and I have to think way more than before. Maybe I'm just getting old?? Any thoughts?
