885ix series boards

We just moved to a new building with 885ix boards.  Any feedback I can get about OS + SB version compatibility will be helpful.  Problems have been quite rampant but I'm starting to a pattern.  OS 10.6.3 seems to be a problem both w/SB 10.7.154 and w/SB 10.8 OS 10.6.8 w/SB 10.8 also seems to be a problem.  In both these instances, there's an alternating between the pen tray light and red light on the SB flashing.  Any suggestions?See More

SMART Board not linking with computer when it wakes up

Anyone have this problem? When the computer goes to sleep, the connection to the SB is lost.  Going into connection wizard only freezes the mouse.  Teachers have to restart their computers for the SB to work again.  The computers with this issue are running OS 10.5 to OS 10.6.  The Notebook version is 10.7.154.0  Thanks!

"I would guess it's one of 2 issues: 1. Something small is covering the sensor. I've had clients that found a bread crumb in the exact right spot was causing issues -- try blowing on the sensor to clear any bits of 'stuff' that…"

The red pen does not work on a 10.6 machine. Help!

Has anyone had this before where the red pen doesn't work when picked up?  It turns into a cursor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

Writing not appearing where it should...

A couple of our teachers are still using version 9.7 of Notebook since they have the an older machine. Does anyone have a fix for writing not appearing where it should even after the board has been oriented? Thanks!See More

"I've never seen this problem, but you might want to run software update on both notebook and OSX. I am running 10.4.11 and 10.0.346.2 Notebook. I can't upgrade Notebook until I upgrade my OS - so there might be some incompatibility issue.…"

Groups feature in Notebook 10

Has anyone seen this problem? You organize your pages in Notebook into groups. The pages exist in the NB, the drop down menu shows the group name, BUT when you click on the group name, it does not take you to the group.See More
