I am not sure if you can download the stories from the two sites below, but they have a ton of stories and are fun whether they are used on one computer of a SMART Board: www.biguniverse.com http://www.co.napa.ca.us/Library/Site/4/142/378/Tumble...

Does anyone know of a good site for kids books that I can download onto a MP4 player? I found the Robert Munsch site, which was great but I want variety!

Hi Mitzi - a clever way to help kids remember short vowel sounds. I sent it to a friend who works with LD students who can't read well. Thanks for sharing! Karen

Welcome...I am also a 1st grade teacher and after watching your short Vowel Pairs video, I am wondering if you have hand signals for each of the short vowels to help the children remember? And if so, I would be very interested in how you teach them.

Thanks for the two videos...
