Jim Hollis and Harvey Almarode bring you a scary episode of Get SMART with SMART Boards. This week Jim and Harvey share some Halloween resources for teachers to use with their SMART Board. Harvey begins by sharing is thoughts on the Living Sasquatch website. This website allows you to incorporate your webcam to bring a living Sasquatch onto your SMART Board. Jim's website recommendation is Oswego City School's interactive games which include some great Halloween themed Math games. Jim and Harvey also share some creepy Halloween Notebook files including Jim's Halloween Safety House. The podcast concludes with a challenge from Harvey to create a 3D hole in a 3D rectangle using the tools in the Notebook toolbar. 1. If it was me, I would first try swapping batteries out of a working one with one that only works plugged in. See if that makes them work. Then you'll know if you have bad batteries. Also, put the "bad" batteries in a working one and see if it stops working for a second level check.
2. What do you mean pull apart? Is it the front clear plastic cover over the overlay? Looking at mine, I don't see how they could pull apart.
3. We haven't had any problem with the bluetooth. I haven't had to swap any. I did have to login as admin to install it initially.
Who is the Smart Education Consultant for your region? That's the person I always go to to get answers and help. Let me know what you find out.
