On MACs running Notebook, you can drag pdfs into a Notebook page. With Windows, you would have to use the camera icon in Notebook 10 to copy and paste the pdf into Notebook.

About Me:
I grew up in Swaziland, Southern Africa. I attended college in the USA and taught 5th and 8th grade for five years. Now I am an Instructional Technology Resource teacher and help teachers learn how to integrate technology into the classroom. My main love is the Smartboard which I troubleshoot and instruct with. I am always looking to see what new concepts teachers come up with on how to use the Smartboard Notebook software.

Thanks Obe! I really enjoyed Saturday's cohort and am excited about sharing resources. After being out of school 2 days last week for the storm, the past 2 days have been a whirlwind! I am still trying to catch up. Sorry I won't see you at VSTE this year. Keep me in the loop on other opportunities to get together.

Thanks- and thanks for setting up this forum, I have recommended it to my teachers here when I do SMART Board training.
I am going to be exploring SMART Tables tomorrow- haven't read great reviews about them, seems there isn't a very good software with it? Have you used them in your district?

Obe,
I finally got a set of SMART Response Clickers! OK...they're not physically in my building just yet, but they should be by this afternoon!
Question: I saw the Notebook file that you posted in Feb. that is training for Senteo 2. Is SMART RESPONSE similar enough that I can use your Notebook file? I obviously have a lot to learn...

Thanks for the welcome. I do plan on joing groups and have already started checking out the forums. Before coming to Fairfax, I use to teach in Augusta County and knew Harvey personally and finding his website is what led me to this site. Now as a math resource teacher, I'm always looking for ideas to share with teachers in my building.

Ah, yes. I think I take it for granted sometimes. Summer is best, you'll need to come back and do some hiking Glacier National Park.

Obe,
Thanks for the advice. I will give it a try. We do have a school website and I also thought about a google doc or wiki. I will check out the NB beta program.
