I stumbled onto an idea when doing a unit on telling time in kindergarten. I found many good interactive games online. I take a photo of the game and add a link to the site. Each day I add a new link to a page in Norebook and introduce the game to the kids in a quick two minute whole group lesson. Then the smartboard becomes one of their math center options. - Fantastic title.... Smartboard Revolution! Using an IWB has certainly revolutionized the way I organize and create my classroom materials and content! In my kindergarten classroom the Smart Board is used as a hands-on activity center for individuals or small groups and as an interactive presentation tool for whole group instruction, and as a task board for managing centers, differentiating activities and directing students to target activities in the classroom. I'm looking forward to sharing ideas with other educator's around the world who are equally motivated to create effective lessons using Smart products.
