I agree with Lloyd as I too found the airliner very useful in the classroom. It gave me proximal control and left the smartboard open for the students to use. I also let the students use the airliner to help me with lesson presentations. Regards

Just my two cents, and I am biased but. I use an AirLiner every single day. Its more relaxed and comfortable and gives you the freedom to be as far away from all the technology as possible - and still be able to use it. They take some getting us...

I teach 2nd grade and have been using Smart products for about 3 years. I love, love, love the Airliner. It allows me to sit in the middle of the floor with my students and allow them to lead the lesson with me as the facilitator. I can correct th...

Heeeerrrr's Brady! SMART follows Wayne Gretzky's philosophy, don't look at the puck. Look where it is going. That is what SMART does. Yes, they look at the market today and provide solutions. However, they also believe in setting the trends.

Brain Rules and the Smartboard Lesson Podcast

I've recently listened to episode 144 of the SMARTboard lesson podcast where Joan and Ben shared the book Brain Rules, by John Medina, and how it translated to the SMARTboard. It was a great podcast, as usual. But the way they talked about the rules and implications for education compelled me to get the book. I downloaded it from audible.com on Saturday and have listened t… Continue

Hey Matt-

When you were doing your screencast videos, what program were you using to create these? I am looking to start making my own videos like this and wondered how to do it.

Thanks so much in advance,

Bill

No way! I worked for Pasco County schools for 12 years before accepting the EC position with SMART three years ago. I worked at Gulf Middle for 2 years, Calusa ES for 5, and Mittye P. Locke for 5. We may know some of the same people. My closest friend grew up here and graduated from Gulf, RuthAnn Smith. She came from a big family who owned Smith Collision on US 19.
I will bet there are other people we bothknow. I actually live close to your old Elementary School. Small world!

It's just so close. Just a bit broader in the jaw... we share the same hairline, same hair color, the lifting left brow. He hasn't complained yet, but thanks for the welcome. As soon as I have a new one, that one will be loaded.
