Thanks for the response. The update is "unable to locate the status of the gallery", so it will not allow the update. Have spoken w/ SMART, but still no solution. I've reinstalled, but still short. They are working on it.

Sadly, my Vista using machine is having notebook issues and I needed to delete my gallery. I thought the "stock" version had 6000+ items, but I am only showing 5302. What am I missing?

I think there is an ethical issue here. We don't expect our students to cheat and plagiarize. Why should the administration choose a cheaper board and allow the teachers to use the Notebook software on it? That's cheating in my mind and not fair t...

I would invite the interactive whiteboard companies to give a demo for your administration and then decide which one fits your needs. Ask SMART and see if you can get a discount. The two top companies in the education realm are Promethean ActivBoa...

It seems to me that so many companies are trying to be SMART, but just cannot compete. I just sat through a 1 hour conference call that demonstrated a competing board, TeamBoard. It seemed to me that the focus of the presentation is how it can use...

Thank you all very much. I never thought of the USB 1.0 vs. 2.0 issue.

All good suggestions and I've seen all three of these cause the issue. Multiple Flash objects on earlier releases of SMART Notebook + Mac can cause latency issues that will replicate the problem. Lower end specifications can result in delays esp...

If your SMART Board is connected using a USB port, make sure it's connected to a high-speed USB. The SMART Board should be plugged into one of the USB ports in the back on the computer.

I had this issue also. If following Obe's advice doesn't work, look to see if you are using too many of the flash games/activities. I didn't have enough RAM to support the flash. I finally got more RAM and my computer is not bogged down as much. A...

Was it always that dim? Have you thought about just replacing the bulb? As they age they dim. Mine is getting that way too, but it's got three plus years and 2,500+ hours on it.

If it is a Windows computer, it could be several things. First, restart the computer. Second adding RAM memory would definitely help. A good place to buy cheap good memory is from http://www.crucial.com The computer might also have a virus, spywa...

Hi Mark,

It's not letting me post on taht discussion thread. Anyway its the Windows Tablet PC drivers (most likely) that are interfering.

Very last post: http://exchange.smarttech.com/forums/p/1434/12115.aspx#12115

Has a command line command that can be run from an elevated prompt:

"C:\Program Files\SMART Technologies\SMART Board Drivers\PNP Drivers\DriverInstaller.exe" -u " c:\Program Files\SMART Technologies\SMART Board Drivers\PNP Drivers\"

that will fix the issue for you
