I am so excited to start using my smartboard. Any new ideas and strategies would be welcome. I am thinking of using it for just about everything. Math lessons are a must. My first project!

Teaching is my life. I have some really brite students here and they are excited as well. BTW..I am from Joliet. Raised in Missouri and went to Mizzo, and then transfered here to Berkley. I miss it back home, it seems more laid back compared to CA.

No I am not capturing those pages. That would be a waste of space since I already have them on CD. I am taking the same information and making them into manipulative docs for the kids.

That is great you are getting a SMARTBoard. I would definitely use the online versions or electronic books of all your textbook publishers.

I have created a website for teachers in Virginia with interactive websites, PowerPoints, Kidspiration and SMART Notebooks at http://www.rockingham.k12.va.us/resources/elementary/soltechintegration.htm Feel free to use the content in your class.

I would also check out Everyday SMARTBoard lessons you can download from the forums at http://smartboardsandeverydaymath.com/
