One of the schools in my EETT grant will be installing Smartboards in all 4-6 classrooms. Because the focus of my grant is to improve writing, my concern is finding uses that truly enhance E/LA - rather than distract from that goal.

I also have a few concerns about the stationary design of the SB - as opposed the Mimeo, which is less expensive and moveable (and might be a good "baby step" into the more expensive SB or Promethean models.
