Ben,
Could you give me a list of the mic and other gear you use to do your podcast. I'm looking to upgrade. I also see a what ever it's called in front of the mic. Where do you get it?

Also, I just heard on episode 115 that you are going to be reassessing and making a decision by show 150. If you are looking to make changes I'd be interested in helping out.

Thanks.

Wow! Ben Hazzard, a celebrity, on my little ning. Actually, I had found your podcast not too long ago. After listening to it, and learning about Ning from a tech conference I was a part of, I decided to start this thing.

I do like your podcast. It made me think of doing video tutorials like the two already posted. My district is slowly installing them in the rooms. But to get one teachers have to apply for an in-district grant and agree to take 4-6 of the Saturday Technology classes that the district offers.

We already had the "Smart Board" class for them, but I could tell that they needed more. So, I started the site and videos to try and give them a place to get help and ideas.

Anyway, welcome.

Matt

Teaching With SMARTBoard

Guidelines for Students to go up to the Smartboard

I think it is important to communicate your expectations often when dealing with the Smartboard.  That is why I made a Smartboard Slide with all my expectation on it.  I always give this at the begining of the year, and often at times throughout the year.  It is a good reminder about how to treat [...]
