Obe Hostetter had a solution for Sharon DuBois' problem last year, but I do not know which version of Notebook it was for these older computers. We have a MacBook with OSX 4.11 We updated the Notebook software this summer to 10.7.154.0 and it has caused many problems. It would not open some of the old files that she had previously used that were flash files. We have uninstalled and are looking for a compatible Notebook version. Notebook Software Update 10.7.154.0
We have been busy this summer updating software on our teachers' Macs to include the Notebook Software with 10.7.154.0 version. Two of our teachers who have the same computers running OS 10.5.8 are having problems with the spinning pizza and locking up on their SmartBoards. Are any of you finding problems with the software running slow or quitting on this new version?Thanks for any help,AliceSee More

1. Click on the apple in the top left corner and select system preferences 2. Click on the ink icon 3. Uncheck to ink in any application and Uncheck to show ink window and you should be good to go."

- We have 10.5.4 with Notebook 10 (10.0.60.0) software installed from the web. In System Preferences-Ink, I turn on handwriting recognition and uncheck all the other boxes. Click the red circle in the top left corner to save this preference. ink
Uninstall Notebook and uninstall SMARTBoard Drivers. Then install the older Notebook and Drivers. SMART Notebook 10.0.60.0 seems to work better than the most recent download of Notebook. You can download the old version 10.0.60 from http://downloads.smarttech.com/techsupport/k1fi2rh8stf3eja6kjs1sdl0wa/Mac10SP0NBandDriver.zip
