I updated my SOL Technology Integration web page at http://www.rockingham.k12.va.us/resources/elementary/soltechintegra... with the new 2010 Social Studies/History SOLS for K-5 as well as more resources. I started adding K-5 Math resources too. The 5th grade Math web page is done.....now if only I can find time to get K-4 done.

If anyone has suggestions, PowerPoints, Notebook files or websites to share, please email me so I can add them to the web page.

I agree with Annah that uninstalling before installing seems to work best. Try this.
1. Click on start/Windows Symbol-Control Panel-add/remove programs.
2. Uninstall the SMARTBoard Drivers and Notebook and all SMART Technologies software.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Download the software http://www.smarttech.com/us/Support/Browse+Support/Download+Software on a different computer and save the installer to a usb flash drive.
5. Disable any Antivirus and FIrewall.
6. Plug the usb flash drive in the computer and then install.
7. Restart and enable the Antivirus and firewall.

I had a similar problem trying to download to a laptop that had SB 9.0. I had to uninstall all previous versions and drivers, and then install the newer SB 10.6 version.

Trying to download the notebook software to a PC Laptop. The download goes thru the initialization stage fine and begins the download. Then I receive the following error message - The installation did not succeed (exit code 1625). Any suggestions?
