As well, if you connect to a SMART Interactive Product to turn on SMART Ink and then you disconnect, you can still use the tools by clicking on the SMART Ink tab on your browser and choosing Keep On.
You would then need to use the tools on the SMART Ink tab rather than the Floating Toolbar.
Comment by Amanda Harris on June 11, 2012 at 1:27pm I am not able to write with digital ink outside of Notebook software anymore. I conduct webinars from my desk and would really like to use the digital ink options during my sessions. Do I have to be connected to a SMART board?
I have done 3 training's since I installed it and it freezes throughout my presentations. I am not sure that it is the Beta but I was going to uninstall it and see if it makes a difference.
Comment by DDM on June 3, 2012 at 11:18am Hi Diane,
I don't think that it will hinder response. The GAllery Beta tab just won't show up because of Response. But, if you want to uninstall, go to applications -SMART Technologies folder-SMART uninstall. It will be listed and you can choose what you want to uninstall.
Comment by Amanda Myton on May 31, 2012 at 12:13pm Has anyone tried out the Gallery 2.0 Beta? It's available for download now if you'd like to try. I'm meeting with the product manager next week and would love to take any feedback that you have.
Comment by Allen Wolmer on May 14, 2012 at 2:43pm While I appreciate everyone's help, I don't think I'm making myself clear. Matt, if I go to "Full Screen" and then choose "Entire Page", that's the view I always want in Full Screen. (If I wanted to scroll, I would (and do) keep it in regular view.) If, as Matt suggests, I then close the file, even if I save first, the next time I open it, it is back to the previous configuration.
What am I doing wrong? :-)

Notebook 11 has a scrolling option in Full Screen view, so that you can use more page space if you desire, but the width will remain the same. Something new is that you can go to your view menu and set up a border that will show you where the bottom of your Full Screen view will be. If you go to your view menu, select "Full Screen Page Border." Select a size. This will show you a line across what will be the bottom of your page when in Full Screen. I hope that helps.
Have any of you taken the Notebook 11 assessment? I am having a hard time reading the LW due to the fact it is hard to read that much material online. I would really like to print the resources. Is the webinar enough?
