Try restarting your computers.  I would also check with your tech staff to make sure no wireless or firewalls got changed.

Does anybody experience a problem with Smart Sync this week?  It just stopped working.  I can not see any computers on the thumbnails page.  I called Smart and they say there should not be a problem since I have right versions of Smart Teacher and Smart Student but Students' computers can not connect to mine.  On Friday everything was working OK, on Monday the problem started.  I didn't change anything

Thanks, I found the answer in forum on here: solution. The issue was with the software only coming with 32 bit drivers, once I installed the 64 bit drivers everything worked perfectly. thanks all for trying to help me.

Did you try to restart the computer?  After I updated I restarted 2-3 times before I got the green light

I just have the red light. I have been using notebook 11 and mac os x is 10.8.2. I have tried different usb ports. I currently don't have a powered usb hub.

Adam,

Do you get a red or blinking green light when you plug the SMART Board into your MAC?  What version of Notebook are you using (10 or 11)?  What MAC operating system?  Try a different usb port and try plugging the SMART Board into a powered usb hub.

I just received a smartboard 580, and having issues with the board not being detected by my mac. It works in windows with out and issue, but I plug it into my mac and nothing.

I just upgraded to 11.  How can I import a ppt?  All I get when clicking File-Import is  "All Common File Import Files" and ppt (in fact none of my files) will import????  Any suggestions???  Thanks in advance!!!

When an icon that appears twice in the Dock, select the icon and uncheck "Open at Login".  The next time you log in, there should only be 1 icon. 

If the issue persists, log in with administrator rights, go to System Preferences > Users Groups.  Then highlight the item that is appearing twice and select the minus (-) button. The next time you log in, the icon should only appear once.
