Hi, Yesterday I tried to update my updater so it would update my Mac to 10.6. Does anyone know where to find it? SMART Tech says to go to Help while in Notebook but there is not Update button there. I ended up uninstalling Notebook and Drivers and reinstalling 10.6. I have almost 100 computers to update so I would appreciate any help to make this easier.

Each time I enter in text and I "bold" it, if I reenter the text box, the bolding goes away. Any suggestions?

@Ashley you have to go to http://www.smarttech.com to directly download 10.6. The SMART updater needs to be updated to know there is an update.

I noticed that the new update is only for 10.5 and 10.5 computers, not 10.4.11.

You may need to uninstall the old smartboard software first. Then install the newest as a fresh install instead of an update.

for me: I downloaded the update and ran it from the desktop because my SB UPDATER didn't pick up any new software updates either.

Probably safest to call tech support though.

Good question Deven!! Yes it is! I went to the SMART website and there is a link on the Mac downloads to help you update. I followed the directions and was still unable to update! :(

Has version 10.6 for Mac been released yet? I'm getting the same response as Ashley, everything is up to date.

Hi All,

I am having difficulty updating Notebook to 10.6. I have tried the last couple of days and each time I try my computer tells me my software is up to date!! Any suggestions before I call tech support?

Lindsey,

Go into system preferences and then click on INK
Uncheck the box that says "Allow me to ink in any application" and your yellow post-it will be no more.
