A Revolution in Education
I'm having a problem with my tool bar. In the past, when I selected to use the highlighter tool, it gave me a slide out option box to pick the color and the thickness of the highlighting. It is not doing that now. How can this be fixed? Thanks so much!

Permalink Reply by Anne Abraham on November 9, 2011 at 9:14am Also, what is your operating system and version of the Notebook software?
Permalink Reply by Barb Gilman on November 9, 2011 at 9:29am Oops! Forgot to put in all the details. It's the floating tool bar. I'm on OS 10.5.8 and Notebook is 10.0.346.2
What bothers me is that it was working up until 2 weeks ago and I haven't done any updating.

To delete the files
1. Control-click the SMART Board icon in the Dock, and then select Quit to close the SMART Board Tools.
2. In the Finder, open the Mac HD and browse to /Users/[your user name]/Library/Application Support/SMART Technologies/SMART Board Drivers.
3. Drag the FloatingToolsSmall.xml and ContextTools.xml files to the Trash.
4. Open the Mac HD, and then select Applications > SMART Board Drivers > SMART Board Tools.app.
The Floating Tools toolbar appears, and the correct tool starts when you press it.
