Smart Notebook 10.7

Did anybody try to download it?  i spent a whole day trying and it crashed every time.  I hoped it would fix the lag problem with 800i board

I just downloaded it and all seems to be fine. Using a Mac Snow Leopard 10.6.6

Mine doesn't work no matter what I do for installation.  I guess it should be something with my computer but what I do not understand

We installed 10.7 using Windows today just fine. It failed on the first attempt. We needed to uninstall 10.6 before installing 10.7. Once we did that it worked just fine.
We uploaded 10.7 today just fine using Windows. The first attempt failed. We uninstalled 10.6, and then retried installing 10.7 and it worked just fine.

I'm curious: you mentioned that the first attempt to install Notebook 10.7 failed but the second attempt was successful. Do you happen to know, when it failed, what happened? I mean... did Windows Installer report an error? Or, did the installation complete apparently successfully but Notebook did not work right?

Error was reported that install was not successful.

I just uninstalled my NOtebook software and the drivers, then downloaded the new 10.7 with Notebook and drivers.

 

Now, my Notebook files open, stay open for about 8 seconds and then crash.  I can't do anything.

 

Mac 10.6.6

same story with mine.  I checked everything, repaired permissions, tried it on a different account, nothing works.  I guess I have to reimage the computer

You mentioned that Notebook doesn't work. I think I might be able to offer advice, but am unclear.

Does it launch and then crash [like Jennifer reports, above]?

Does it open the "Tutorial"?

Does it respond to touch on the SMART Board?

 

Hopefully I can help knowing a bit more about the specific problems you're experiencing! I'm new to SMART Board Revolution and would like to try to help if I can....

it launches and crashes right after.  It tried to open the tutorial once, first time. it doesn't even give me time to try it on the SmartBoard before it crashes.

Hi! I'd like to try to help. When Notebook crashes, does the Apple crash reporter come up? If so, I wonder if you can copy/paste and save them to a file and then upload the file here? I might be able to suggest what's wrong by looking at the contents of the crash report.
