Pen issues with Mac 10.5 ???

Has anyone experienced the pens not writing down to the bottom of the board? I can write to the margins of a Notebook page, right, left, and top. Toward the bottom of the page the pen quits writing about 8 in. from the bottom margin. Lifting the pen and touching the board in the middle results in a straight line being drawn from the last place touched to the middle of the board. Also, sometimes touching the pen at the bottom of a screen will open up a Notebook Control Panel dialogue box.

Any similar experiences, or thoughts???

Just to get this out of the way: I assume you've performed both the orientation of the projector to the board and the orientation of the board to the computer?

I have had pen issues with 10.5.8 with SMART Board Drivers 10.0.399.6 and SMART Notebook 10.0.383.3 where I will write and the pen will skip and draw lines instead of letters intermittently.

I have this issue in 10.6.1. Good to know it's not Snow Leopard specific. Looking forward to the upcoming service pack...soon?

We had similar problem and took our users back to SP2/SP5 which resolved the problem. We are running 10.5.8. It is interesting to note that not all of the users running 10.5.8 experienced the problem - we suspect that a secondary software and/or the Flash player plug in may have a role in the malfunction.

I have a pen issue as well. I am running 10.6. When I connect to a board and use the pens, my writing is upside down and backwards. If I write with my finger, no problems. I hope it will be fixed in an upcoming update.
