A Revolution in Education
Notebook Software Update 10.7.154.0
We have been busy this summer updating software on our teachers' Macs to include the Notebook Software with 10.7.154.0 version. Two of our teachers who have the same computers running OS 10.5.8 are having problems with the spinning pizza and locking up on their SmartBoards.
Are any of you finding problems with the software running slow or quitting on this new version?

We are using OS 10.7 and the newest Notebook 10.8 and are having similar issues? We are going to try to go to 10.7 of Notebook.

SMART Notebook is officially not supported on Mac OS X Lion (operating system 10.7) at this time so I would expect there to be issues. Please try SMART Notebook 10.8 on a computer running Mac OS X Leopard or Snow Leopard (operating system 10.5.8 to 10.6.8).

Alice,
I recommend updating the Mac OS X Leopard (operating system 10.5.8) computers to SMART Notebook for Mac version 10.8 as it is the newest. Also ensure you have at least 1 GB RAM and a 1.5 GHZ processor. http://www.smarttech.com/downloads
