We have Promethean Boards in our school, can SmartBoard technology be easily integrated? Thanks, BJ Neary

I have a website that I share with my teachers as I provide PD. There is a file that includes a Library Integration Notebook file and also some fun games -- http://homepage.mac.com/hlamb (I am updating the games to include some directions, but basically they are just linked objects and you can add your own content on each question page. There is a game that you can use a fly swatter to swat flies and also a koosh game example).

I also have a delicious website that I use to share the wealth of resources -- check out the Top 15. These are my favorite sites!

I am former library media specialist (all 9 years with a SMART Board!) and know how important professional development is to the success of implementation. I also encourage the teachers I work with to borrow and give credit. I am now and SMART Education Consultant in Texas.

Enjoy!

We're getting our first SMART boards at the beginning of the school year so it will be nice to have a support group as we begin our new "adventure." Thanks to everyone for the suggested web sites!
