Glad to be part of the group. I'm a LMS here in Milwaukee WI, I've been the LMS at my school for 10 years and a SMART board trainer for 5.
I look forward to sharing ideas.

Katharine, you will wasnt to use the split screen option on the board. It allows you to keep notes on one side and teach on the other. An additional option is to choose to pin the left page in place with the notes and then the right page can scroll through multiple pages while the notes page stays in place.

I have a teacher who wants to display notes for students at the same time as he uses his SMARTboard to teach. He has asked me for an overhead projector for the notes...but is there a way to do split screen on his SMARTboard?

I posted an interactive Works Cited Notebook lesson on the Smart Board Revolution Wiki (File Sharing tab on this page) under 21st Century Skills. i assume that being a responsible user of information fits that category. Feel free to use it. Just note that I intended to make it compatible with the new MLA, but you might want to double check.
