Is there a document anywhere that states the Windows 7 settings that need to be changed to make the SMARTBoard work smoothly. If so, please share.

Helen, I am in GA also and have some handouts you may be interested in. They are mostly Tips and Tricks. I have done many classes using these and some other resources along this line. I am in the training department at Unifiedav.
Comment by Helen Maddox on July 13, 2012 at 3:46pm I am a Tech Specialist at Kennesaw State University. I have been through SMART training, redelivered - but it is more HOW to use the board. Teachers have been trained on how to use the board, where they can find lessons, they now want to create their own lesson plans but do not feel equipped to do so (and with time constraints many don't try at all).
Do you have any suggestions, materials, handouts, rubrics, lessons that you would be willing to share? I feel that training needs to move from HOW To use the board - to a format where their training starts with how to build a sample lesson from scratch - how to ensure it meets standards - perhaps follows a rubric - and as they build that lesson they learn to use the tools. Each successive training class has them create more lessons - more advanced concepts are learned - and more tools learned.
I would appreciate any ideas, resources, links, comments, and look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Helen Maddox

This is a file I have used as part of a 5 day graduate course for beginner users. As the title indicates, I used it as a checkin, and also as a way to introduce the great templates that are available in the gallery for Smart Response.
