I remember I had problems the first couple of days with Mountain Lion.  I know I reinstalled Java because I couldn't run Power teacher but I know there was something else for Smart Response I had to reinstall.  I do not remember what exactly.  Well, at this point what do you have to lose.  May be you can reinstall the whole Smart system.

I also had to reinstall java, I think.  Did you do it?

Yes, restarted several times.  Tried restarting in 32 bit mode to see if that helped as well.

did you try to restart?  When I switched to 10.8 I had to restart my laptop every time I connected to the Smart Board for a week or two.  Now it's fine again

I'm running 10.8.2.  The receiver is solid red.  When I went into the System Information, it sees that the receiver is plugged in, but it won't go green.

It is best to have your teacher folder on the hard drive. The responders seem to communicate better.

it works a lot better after the latest update.  I am running 10.8.2

I am running MAC OS 10.8 with service pack 1 and my Smart Response will not work at all.  Wondering if anyone is running Smart Response on a OS 10.8 with no issues?  or if you had issues, what did it take to resolve the issue?

When I first started using Response I had Teacher Tools loaded in my Dropbox folder online...it operated very weird...I loaded it on the C: drive and all is well.

You can also save Teachers Tools to the Macintosh HD-users-shared folder since that is one location MAC users can save to the local hard drive instead of the network.
