Comment by liza steffen on November 8, 2012 at 8:02pm I remember I had problems the first couple of days with Mountain Lion. I know I reinstalled Java because I couldn't run Power teacher but I know there was something else for Smart Response I had to reinstall. I do not remember what exactly. Well, at this point what do you have to lose. May be you can reinstall the whole Smart system.
Comment by liza steffen on November 8, 2012 at 7:59pm I also had to reinstall java, I think. Did you do it?
Comment by Jennifer Harper on November 8, 2012 at 7:57pm Yes, restarted several times. Tried restarting in 32 bit mode to see if that helped as well.
Comment by liza steffen on November 8, 2012 at 7:56pm did you try to restart? When I switched to 10.8 I had to restart my laptop every time I connected to the Smart Board for a week or two. Now it's fine again
Comment by Jennifer Harper on November 8, 2012 at 7:54pm I'm running 10.8.2. The receiver is solid red. When I went into the System Information, it sees that the receiver is plugged in, but it won't go green.

Comment by liza steffen on November 8, 2012 at 7:45pm it works a lot better after the latest update. I am running 10.8.2
Comment by Jennifer Harper on November 8, 2012 at 7:43pm I am running MAC OS 10.8 with service pack 1 and my Smart Response will not work at all. Wondering if anyone is running Smart Response on a OS 10.8 with no issues? or if you had issues, what did it take to resolve the issue?
Comment by Mitch Wasserman on September 18, 2012 at 10:51am When I first started using Response I had Teacher Tools loaded in my Dropbox folder online...it operated very weird...I loaded it on the C: drive and all is well.
Comment by Obe Hostetter on September 17, 2012 at 3:27pm You can also save Teachers Tools to the Macintosh HD-users-shared folder since that is one location MAC users can save to the local hard drive instead of the network.
