SMART Response Correct Order of Operation:
1) Open Teacher Tools
2) Plug in the Receiver
3) Stop the "Anonymous Class" because on my it always starts on its own.
4) Start the "Class"
5) Wait until the system tells you that it is ok to start the clickers.
6) Sign in at least one student
7) Open the Assessment file
8) Start the Assessment

Deb- you are going to love using them! We have just started and I will be teaching a workshop called 'Formative Assessment using Senteo Technology' in August. I have found these posting extremely helpful while we were piloting them in the spring.

Recently found out that our school will receive Senteo system for one classroom in the fall. I plan on using it and will be following your posts over the summer so I can be ready come September.

OK, I am extremely frustrated. Tried to reinstall Notebook and Senteo and both would not finish installing. The computer froze at the very end of each installation. I had to restart and now I have error messages in the Senteo teacher.

I would follow Obe's advice especially after moving from notebook 9.7 to 10. There is also a clean utility that was with 9.5 that works well with cleaning 9.7 before installing 10 and Senteo. If you need the clean utility please e-mail me.

To be on the safe side, I would uninstall Senteo and Notebook and then reinstall the latest Senteo/SMART Response from http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-US/Support/Downloads/SMARTResponse/...

I see how to upgrade the drivers but not Senteo to SMART Response . What am I missing?
