Yes, 40 is the limit for 1 receiver. See http://smartboardrevolution.ning.com/group/senteointeractiverespons... on how to use the Senteo with more than 40.

Obe, I see the comment you made about being able to ask each question individually with later versions of Senteo. Are you referring to Senteo 2, SMART Response or both? Thanks.

I have the SMART response. I tried the assessment without the title page. When the first question is stopped so that I can discuss the answers, the clickers start over at question 1 even though it is the 2nd or 3rd question. When I export the results it is only reporting the first question results. in Senteo 1.0 we would be able to stop each question in order to provide feedback to the students. Thanks for any ideas!

I can't remember if this has been asked- Has anyone tried using more than a set of clickers at a time? I thought I read somewhere that you can't use over 40 per receiver, but can't remember where. Has anyone used them for a large group presentation? If you had to use more than one receiver, how might that look? Thanks-

Are there any differences we need to be aware of between SMART Response on the Mac side and the Windows side?

Which version: Senteo 2 or SMART Response? Yes ,it is possible to start and stop each question. The trick is delete or NOT have a title page. Results can still be exported by clicking on the Senteo menu in Notebook-export to CSV (Excel) or Web page. If you do have a title page, the results get exported automatically into the gradebook.

I have a set of clickers and was used to using Senteo 1.0. I upgraded to the newest version but never really played with it enought to get comfortable. Now that it is a new year I want to use it and can't seem to make it do what I want. I would like to be able to ask each question separately (stopping and starting with each new question) then I want to export the results. I was able to do this in the earlier version. Can anyone help me?

Vicki- The set of 'clickers' you would buy- the software is free, just like the Notebook and works very well with it, creating a tab that you can access the SMART Response features right in Notebook. As a matter of fact if you have the Notebook loaded at home, simply go to the SMART website and download the SMART Response- that way you can start creating assessments and question sets. After piloting we decided to go with the newest version- SMART Response, even though there were problems at first- for us they seem to be fixed.

Vicki - you will find it pretty easy to learn how to use the clickers because you are already using SMART Notebook. Our website has a bunch of Senteo (SMART Response) quizzes already created. I am not sure what subject you teach but we do have a lot of reading and math quizzes as well as a few other subjects. http://technology.usd259.org/resources/whiteboards/smartlessons.htm

HI! I've been using a SMART board for almost a year and we are finally going to be able to purchase clickers for my department. No one has ever used them before. So I'm wondering if we should go ahead and buy the Smart Response 2009 (which I assume is the newest version). Any comments, ideas or suggestions you could offer would be fantastic. THANKS! And thanks to Obe for directing me to this site, which I find much more user-friendly than smartexchange.
