sorting

I downloaded a Senteo notebook lesson (Smart Response) and one of the questions was Sorting, where the student has to sort the order to do a math problem.  I do not have (or do not know where to find) this option.  I have multiple choice, yes/no, true/false, multiple answers but no sorting.  anyone know how to do this?

What was the name of the file that you had found? My guess is that it wasn't originally made for SMART Response.

I see that they actually made sorting quesiton from a numeric question type - never thought of doing that. That gives a new option for a quesiton type.

yes, once I figured out how it was set up to look like multiple choice, but the answer is simply numeric, I am going to create one that the students have to tell the steps of solving an equation.

would you mind explaining to me how it's done. I understand it comes from numeric, but how do you create multiple choice? Just copy the organization from a different page and add correct numeric answer in properties? Can you make as many choices as you want?

easier to show you, then tell you so I have attached a little 2 page questions to show. When you create a question, use numeric. then arrange the steps in mixed order. in the first problem that I have attached, the numeric answer would be typed in as 4132 because that is the order you would do the problem in. on the second example the answer (and what the student would type in) would be 4312 as a number.

Thank you. I created a similar page. I chose numeric, change the look of the page myself and created 5 questions, not 4, put the answer in properties. Did I follow the right procedure?
