Is there a way to give the same quiz to a kid who was absent without losing the scores of everyone else if I reload the questions to give the quiz again. 

 

What about if the bell rings before students are finished....

To my knowledge you can do it..and it will result in a new assessment with only that student getting a score. All the students will be blank. You can't include that make-up assessment in with the original scores on that assessment.

I also like to save the results by:

1. In Notebook, click on Response/Senteo-export results to-Web Page (CSV/Excel is an option).

2. This will save the results to a web page format that you can save.  The incorrect answers will show up in red.

If you give your absent student the assessment he will be taking a new one.  You can then manually enter the results into Teacher Tools. By doing this, the missing student's information is with the one entry of the whole class - good for reporting in Teacher Tools or exporting information out of Teacher Tools.  However, there is no way to combine that one absent student's result information into the Notebook assessment information group of pages. I would keep the Notebook file of the absent students so I could print out individual results.

Thanks guys.....I really appreciate all of your help.  By the way....new patch available for MAC users that may fix some strange happenings with Notebook 10.8 for MAC.  Happy New Year everyone!!
