SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

I have the hardware figured out, and have begun using the Senteos for a number of assessments. I am having a hard time figuring out some basics of recording assessments, though, and wondering if there is a good place to go for help. For instance, today, I noticed I had the wrong answer in test I had written, after all the kids were done taking the test. Can I go back and change that, somehow? Or can I easily adjust all of their grades? I've tried looking in my User's Guide and on the Smarttech website, but haven't found the answers. I have a few other questions along those lines (more with manipulating the data once it is recorded than with the Senteos themselves) and wondering if there are answers out there! Thanks in advance!

Mary, are you using Senteo 1.0 or 2.0? If you are using 1.0, you can adjust the answer after they are done taking the assessment and the correct results will show up if you export the results to Excel or HTML format. It won't correct on their remotes if you show them grades, but it will correct in these two formats once you are done.
I'm using 2.0. Is there another way to do this in 2.0?
yes, you can adjust the students' grades easily in Senteo 2. Here are the basic directions:

1. Load up Senteo Teacher
2. Select a class
3. Click on the assessments tab at the top
4. Select the assessment you want to see detailed results of
5. Click on the results button about half way down the page. Now you will see each student's grade for that assessment.
6. Double-click on the grade you want to change. The percentage grade will automatically adjust to the number you recorded that student got correct.
6. There is a table icon above where the marks are. Click on it and you can export your class results to a CSV (Excel) or web page format. I love the web page format best.
