Here is a link to my website. There is a page, Sound Files. It has 35 sound files that I attach to objects in my SMART lessons. They are MP3 and Wav files. Very short ones. You may have a bad pen tray...

1. Unplug the phone cord located below the pen tray and plug it back into port
2. Take out each pen and eraser and blow hard to clean out the dust that may be preventing the pens from working.
3. Try a different phone cord from a different SMART Board. If the pens now work, then the phone cord needs replaced. Contact a Tech/ITRT.
4. Try a different pen tray from a different SMART Board. If the new pen tray works but not the old one, a new pen tray needs ordered.
5. If the pen tray or phone cord is bad, Contact SMART. SMART will need the date stamp (13/04/2009) on the bottom of the pen tray and the SMART Board serial number (SB660-R2-????) located on the right. Call SMART at 1-866-518-6791 to order a new one.

Is anyone having problems with their pens not always working. It seems it doesn't register that I have taken the pen out of the tray and when it does it keeps bouncing back between pointer and pen, so much so we can't do an activity with writing.

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has a site for free sound effects to use in SMARTBoard. I already know about http://www.soundjay.com/ but I can not seem to fine the just right sound to use with my first grade lessons. Any additional sites or CDs that you can recommend would be helpful.

anyone know where i can download a concentration game template. I would like one that can be touched to remove then replace the "card" instead of having to move it over and back. I want to make a game for our sight words. Thank u!

I am new to SB and this is my first year to have them. Does anyone have any interactive lessons for Reading Street by Scott Foresman. I have seen a few on Waltke's Web etc... but I would love to get my hands on the actual stories...thanks for your help.
