100th Day of School

Does anyone have any Notebook activities to use for the 100th day of school?  I know about the interactive 100 grid in the Gallery. I was going to use it to teach # before/after, patterns, etc. 

Here is one based on the story of Alexander, Who Used to be Rich Last Sunday, involving 100 pennies...very simple.

Another one is about creating 10 lists of 10 things...to make 100...again nothing exciting...hoping others can share any lessons they've made or found.

Hi Vickie!
These are so clever. On the Alexander lesson, I found a trash can that I got from a Smart Content Seminar. I inserted it into the second page of your lesson. Students can drag a penny to the can and it makes the sound of a garbage can lid closing and the penny disappears! I have re-posted your lesson with this addition.
You can click on the can, copy, and then paste it into the My Content tab in the gallery so that you can use it later.

I love the trash can. It is exactly what I needed for another lesson. I guess it really doesn't fit here, but I'll attach it anyway. I am using it to exchange coins as part of my daily calendar. A student rolls the die then puts the number of pennies in the piggy bank that matches the roll of the die. Next, we discuss if we have enough pennies to make an exchange for a nickel. Naturally this could be adapted to exchange other coins.

Great Lesson! I have changed it a bit to make a Canadian version. The Garbage can addition is perfect!!

For the Ten Tens activity, I was thinking it might be more fun to use the Sorting template in the Lesson Activity Toolkit to come up with 10 similar items with graphics, then to just list the items in writing. I'm sure there are many ways to liven this lesson up! :-)
