Susan sent this to me today in regards to my post below.

We have the curriculum from Aegeon. I have used it at least once a week since its inception here in September. It was well worth the investment, in my opinion. What a great tool, especially for new and/or reluctant users, as the lessons are ready to go.

I received this email from a rep of this company a while back. I posted a blog post about it. Richard suggested I repost it here. If anyone is interested in checking it out, the information is below.

Hi Matt,

Apologies for the unsolicited email but I saw your website and thought you might find the matter of interest. I am writing to ask if I can interest you in taking a look at our new SMART Board curriculum: Middle School Math for SMART Notebook. Written to take advantage of all of the great new features of Notebook 10, Middle School Math for SMART Notebook consists of 200 exemplar lessons that are designed to support teacher productivity and to help you to get the best out of your SMART Boards. Correlated to all State learning standards, the digital resources are organized by grade level and strand, and installs directly into the Notebook Gallery which makes the lessons tremendously useful and accessible for teachers. We have a number of other Notebook titles in development, including Elementary Math, K-8 Science and K-8 English Language Arts.

Would you and/or your colleagues be able to find 10-15 minutes in your schedule to take a look at this program via a brief online presentation? Please browse the website as well at www.aegom.com for additional information and sample downloads of free lessons.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Kind regards,

Sarah Alves

Harvey's Homepage is wonderful. His Smart lessons are made for the kids to actually go through the file in the absence of a teacher. I have used his files as a starting point and I have customized them to meet my needs.

Thanks! You have no idea how much simpler you made my life! I was going to give up on the smart board because I thought I had to type up every problem by hand. I tried making a lesson, and it took me 3 hours to make not even half of one! I found out I can even use that camera on the interactive textbook online to take examples from that! Now I can focus on the interactivity part rather than trying to type in all of the examples and practice problems! Thank You!
