SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

I feel a little left out... This last week they released the Math Notebook beta, but for Windows only. After the release of Smart Response for Mac and all the problems, having to remove it and fix and then re-release. Why are they leaving us out? I would like to do a full test of the product prior to purchase and have a feeling if this new product works. I understand they will release and sell both products but they only release one beta?? I am concerned!! I hope they value use like the Windows Users. It was not my decision what the school purchased. I like my MAC and I am an Apple User at home and would like a fair test of this new product. I don't want to spend time in the Fall working to correct problems like before.

I wholeheartedly agree! Am I incorrect in my thinking - I thought that more educational settings use Macs than PCs? Is that true? If so - wouldn't they want to target educators? I know that in general the Smart product is geared more towards the Windows platform. Take a look at most of the training sponsored by the company - it's for windows. I think they have trouble filling the mac sessions for training. Maybe that's how they made the decision to release this for windows...I contacted the person who trained me (and works for the company) for certification and he said he would make inquiries about it with them.
