Thanks! You have no idea how much simpler you made my life! I was going to give up on the smart board because I thought I had to type up every problem by hand. I tried making a lesson, and it took me 3 hours to make not even half of one! I found out I can even use that camera on the interactive textbook online to take examples from that! Now I can focus on the interactivity part rather than trying to type in all of the examples and practice problems! Thank You!

you can also just copy and paste the parts you want.

On MACs running Notebook, you can drag pdfs into a Notebook page. With Windows, you would have to use the camera icon in Notebook 10 to copy and paste the pdf into Notebook.

I have access to PDF files of worksheets. Is there a way I can cut and paste problems from the worksheet into smart notebook?

Are there any teachers using Nelson Mathematics?
It would be great to share notebook lessons that I made for this program and would be interested if others have done the same

I thought I would share with you, that I understand that the Math Version of Notebook for the MAC will be available for beta soon (I was informed that Smart is working for a January release but that is not firm date). How have those that used the PC version liked or disliked the application?

Thanks Tracy:
Our school is actually just grades seven and eight. Some of the activities on Harvey's Homepage are easily adaptable to 7th grade curriculum, so thanks for the tip!

Fraction Strips - I was able to pull some from this website -
http://www.wfnss.ca/math/math%20schedule.htm
Go down to Nov. 1 and then click on SMARTboard Fractions Gallery
There are 64 graphics in that gallery and the fraction strips are near the bottom.
