After presenting at the CSTA Conference in San Jose in October, I was encouraged to open a Teachers Pay Teachers Store. In November I opened my store and have begun adding my SMART Notebook lessons in Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physics. I have also add some of the graphic organizers I have developed over the years. Please check out my store and let me know if ther are any lessons you would like to see developed.

Anyone know of any US, World, and topographical maps for the whiteboard? I am teaching a unit on cartography. Please let me know ASAP.

This year, I began using the SMART recorder to create short videos for my students and posting them on youTube.  I also have done this using a Flip Camera.  My students seem to appreciate the opportunity to review material in this method.

Anyone else using the SMART recorder in a similar or different way.

I rally like using the GEMS Alien Juice Bar fro Berkeley to introduce acid and base neutralization and the importance of understanding acids and bases for household materials.

It is just silly enough to capture kids attention, but offers opportunity for great discussion of what is taking place.

Do you all record lessons and post? What microphone do you use? Our cheap USB microphone is not doing the trick. Thanks!

I agree with Jack Furr that you should check out http://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulations/category/new

If you are a Science teacher and still have not found the PHeT simulations then you need to check them out. Its FREE and works well with the SB. phet.colorado.edu
Wonderful stuff that I would have paid for.

The SMART Exchange has added a handful of SUPER new science Notebook Lessons! The Acids and Bases lesson is wonderful. It is full of flash activities and interactive things for the kids to do, but still has a polished, "high school" feel to it (AKA there are no singing bunnies hopping across the screen :-)

I use http://delicious.com/ and install their toolbar on all the computers/laptops I use so I can access my favorite site anytime, anywhere.
