I recently developed a list of over 20 "Grant Sites". You are interested in obtaining this list, please drop me a quick note and I'll send it off to you.
I'm not guaranteeing results, just places to obtain grant information. Some of the sites offer grants on a regular basis, some big, some small. Hope you enjoy.

- Bradfield's is sponsoring an event on November 12, 2009 at Seth Whitman Elementary School in Belvidere, IL. This is a Professional Development opportunity for teachers that have a SMARTBoard and are an early user, but are looking for ways and ideas to integrate the Board into their curriculum. The event requires pre-registration and costs $125. The session is being hosted by Shawn Schwerman, Bradfield SMART Certified Education Consultant, SMART Master Certified Trainer and user of the SMARTBoard Revolution site. - I'm looking to host a SMART User Event in the Northwest burbs of Chicago. Maybe near Elgin/Carpentersville area. What is the interest level? This would be a FREE event. Sharing ideas. Best practices. Etc. Let me know your thoughts.

Jim Hollis and Harvey Almarode bring you a scary episode of Get SMART with SMART Boards. This week Jim and Harvey share some Halloween resources for teachers to use with their SMART Board. Harvey begins by sharing is thoughts on the Living Sasquatch website. This website allows you to incorporate your webcam to bring a living Sasquatch onto your SMART Board. Jim's website recommendation is Oswego City School's interactive games which include some great Halloween themed Math games. Jim and Harvey also share some creepy Halloween Notebook files including Jim's Halloween Safety House. The podcast concludes with a challenge from Harvey to create a 3D hole in a 3D rectangle using the tools in the Notebook toolbar.
