Hi Todd!

I had never thought of creating a video with the student artwork!  What a great idea!   I will be sure to do that!

Typically, I (or the students) chose a few of the artwork and we add them to the class website... this way, I can show the kids how to take a pic using the doc cam, and create the show...  brilliant!  Thanks!

Hillary

we often do critiques on the smart board, I use the document camera to project their work on the board. Are you an elementary art teacher. I have many Notebook files I uses to present lessons if you would ever be interested. I would also be interested in what you have done. Can you send me a link to your website?

Thanks

Todd great videos and website! I've used animoto to introduce Chiuly glass to students. I noticed on your website that you did a self portrait collage with kids on the smartboard. Where they sharing what they created through the smartboard or actully making it with the smartboard?

There are other examples on my website. Attached is a collage we created in Animotto and presented it on the smart board

Create your own video slideshow at animoto.com.

I often use the program animoto to present students art work on the Smart board

I also like to use Tux paint with primary age students to make one picture with the whole class adding to the work

Thanks for posting about the tips, Hillary! For some reason, I can't view your video about using PhotoPeach. It says I need to be friends with you. Is there another way to share the video file? Thanks!!!

I found a series of YouTube videos produced by RadfordEducation on basic Smartboard skills. The tutorials are arranged in short segments that build from very basic skills to more complex skills. Below is one tutorial on the Gallery. If your just staring these would be a great way to explore the notebook software on your own.
