Comment by Joanne Villis on January 17, 2013 at 3:23am I've deleted my 2 math wikis and merged them with my class blog http://3jv.weebly.com/ free to use the Math help links. Here is another great web link for y3-5 teachers called interactive sites for education http://interactivesites.weebly.com/index.html .

We have National testing for English and Maths for years 3, 5, 7 and 9 in Australia. To help my students I created a 'random math wiki' so that students could revise Math concepts and play interactive games related to particular areas. I used the SMART recorder to record demonstrations for students, upload them on YouTube and then embed them in the wiki. There aren't any Notebooks to download accept for the number and place value link (which is a link to another wiki). Anyone is free to use the wikis.

The only part that you wont be able to download are the worksheets from
http://www.superteacherworksheets.com/php_index2.html which is a subscription base website ($20 a year and well worth it).

Comment by Joanne Villis on March 2, 2012 at 1:57am I use these regularly, not sure if people know of them or not? Happy to upload more online links if anyone is interested.

Comment by Darren on February 7, 2012 at 8:20am I wanted to invite all members of this group to check out a review website that I created for students and teachers. There are currently over 4000 games K-12. Teachers that are interested in creating their own games can register for a screen name on the homepage. There is a demo game on the homepage that will help you understand how the software works. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Comment by Joanne Villis on February 4, 2012 at 3:00am I am preparing some new resources for upcoming conferences and today I focused on fractions for Year 4/5. I have uploaded the Notebook documents and a video tutorial on how I created them. They are free to access at: http://inter-tech.com.au/category/smartboard-news/
There is also an older fraction tutorial that I uploaded on Oct 15 (2011) at: http://inter-tech.com.au/category/smartboard-news/page/3/
