I teach a dyslexia reading/spelling program to 1st - 5th graders. I've been using my SMARTboard for almost 2 years and find that it's a perfect format for teaching a multisensory program. Love the Lesson Activity Toolkit!!!

I teach grade 4/5 in Victoria, BC, Canada and my new smartboard is in boxes at the back of my classroom just waiting to be installed! I am excited to get going with it and I am also looking forward to getting many new ideas and strategies from this group. I am starting a new math program in the fall, so I looking foward to incorporating this new program with the Smartboard.

I am a fourth grade teacher and have just begun working with the Smart Board in my classroom. My teaching style has totally changed since this new piece of technology was placed in my classroom. I am looking forward to sharing ideas and lessons with the members of this group!

Hello Matt,

Although I work with k-12, my focus this year, via an EETT grant, is on 4th grade. I am particularly interested in exploring how SB technology can improve students' reading and writing.

Looking forward to following this group,
Gail

I have over a hundred SMARTBoard notebook files for 3-5 teachers posted at http://www.rockingham.k12.va.us/resources/elementary/soltechintegra... Click on a subject and then find SMARTBoard activities section and you will see several SMARTBoard lessons for Math, English, Social Studies, and Science. If you have any to share, please share the link here or email me the file to post online.

I am still learning my way around the Smart Board. I appreciate ready made lessons that help with 4th grade social studies, science and math. I haven't tried creating my own yet, but will eventually. I have shared the Rockingham County site with other teachers in my school and this site has been very helpful. If anyone has any other links that offer activities or lessons it would really be appreciated.
