Also, what version of Windows are you using currently?
Just trying to get a better picture of the situation, but there isn't much to work on, so a little more information will definitely go a long way.

To hopefully answer your questions, I'm running XP SP3 and using the internal wireless bluetooth on my Acer 6493 which is Broadcom Corporation. - Bluetooth Software Version 5.1.0.4500. Both times I connected the Slates wirelessly by discovery in My Bluetooth Places.
Thanks for your continued assistance.

Permalink Reply by Lori Reed on June 23, 2011 at 5:22pm I followed your suggestions. Here are the results.
In the Device Manager, I found Airliner Wireless Slate, but not the WS200 listed. So I removed it and restarted my PC. When I opened My Bluetooth Places to add a device, both the WS 200 and the Wireless Slate were still visible in the window. So I added a bluetooth device/SMART Wireless Slate. However, it did not connect as expected. The options were the same as before.
I seem to back at the same place I was before, except the Airliner is no longer listed in the Device Manger.
FYI, listed Human Interface Devices in the Device Manager are:
Bluetooth Remote Control
Bluetooth Virtual HID Device
HID-compliant consumer control device
HID-compliant device
USB Human Interface Device
USB Human Interface Device
Thanks for your continued assistance.

Permalink Reply by Randy Tran on June 24, 2011 at 3:57pm There are still some things that are concerning to me, like why the devices weren't listed in the Device Manager. I'm wondering, are you able to disable the Internal Bluetooth and try using the Bluetooth module that came with the airliner? I'd be interested in seeing what kind of behaviour the airliner would exhibit on your computer using the other Bluetooth connection.
If you are unable to do that, there is one other thing you can try. If you open up My Bluetooth Place, there should be a menu on the left side of the window that says "View Devices in Range". If you open this option up, you should see the Wireless Slate and the Airliner listed here. If they are, right click on each device and then select "Disable". This should remove the device from the computer and then try to pair up the Airliner again.
Give that a shot, and we'll go from there; hopefully the situation will improve.
