SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

I always hesitate to update Notebook. It seems like every time I lose something. There are some really cool Reading Street files that I now can't open. Sometimes before it would convert-but now sadly it won't. Any suggestions!!! Thanks.

Can you give more details please?  What operating system?  What version of Notebook?  Can you share an example of a Notebook file either by uploading it here or sharing the website?  What version of Flash?

On each computer:
0. Quit Notebook
1. Open the Macintosh HD-Library-Application Support folder
2. Click once on the Macromedia folder
3. Click on File-get info on the Macromedia folder
4. Choose read and write for everyone.
5. Click on the wheel icon at the bottom of the window and choose to apply to enclosed items.
6. Notebook should now work.
7. If not, try this flash fix from SMART by downloading from

http://downloads.smartmacsupport.com/SMART%20ToolSet.zip

If you have MAC.   Make sure you installed the patch for Notebook 10.8 from http://www.smarttech.com/us/Support/Browse+Support/Download+Softwar...

Ran the patch. I think that fixed it. Thanks.
