A Revolution in Education
Has anyone used this app? I am wondering what kind of rating you would provide.

I use the app in my room from my iPad and it works great. It allows me the flexibility to walk around the room and still control the SMART Board. It also allows me to hand my iPad to students to let them manipulate or write on the SMART Board if I need them too.

What about the other way? Can you send the iPad desktop to the computer to project on the board and control the iPad from the board?
Matt
Matt,
No, it is only a one way street in that respect. For that to happen you'd need to either plug in the iPad to your projector or get an appleTV. However, we have had some success in our district with a VGA to HDMI adapter and an appleTV so we wouldn't need to replace projectors already in our classrooms.

However, there is software for a MAC computer that allows you to show your Ipad screen on a computer/projector with no cords needed. You can try it out for free. Go to http://reflectionapp.com/ This software would work great if you are presenting on an Ipad and want to walk around the room while presenting. Your audience would be able to see what you see on your Ipad on the projector connected to your MAC computer.
