Does anyone know if Notbook 10 has been checked to run on Snow Leopard?

http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/ has a list of applications to check if they're Snow Leopard compatible. Notebook 10 is not listed there.

Just installed Notebook 10 Service Pack 3 with Snow Leopard today and it works fine for me.

Thanks a bunch. I'll be installing Snow Leopard next weekend and I was going to wait if it didn't work with Notebook 10. Glad to hear it works fine.

Ben Hazzard, on Twitter, reported that he had to install SL by doing a clean install then restore from his backup.

I was wondering if Mark above did a clean install or migrated his apps over. Right now I'm downloading the Notebook 10 with Service Pack 3, hoping it will take care of the flash issues I'm having. I do prepare my lessons on my Mac at home and run them on the PC at school. I'm so grateful Notebook works on both platforms.

Although the Gallery takes about an hour to install on my computer, I think when I upgrade to Snow Leopard I'll do a clean install of Notebook.

Hi Julie,

I'm going to be completely honest with you. When it comes to the Macintosh platform and Notebook software we are usually a version or two behind the Mac OSX releases. In theory I would say it should be compatible *but* we haven't tested it yet.

SMART releases software updates with build times between 4 months and 6 months, where-as Apple tends to release updates every 2 to 3 months. This makes it rather difficult for us to keep up-to-date on our testing systems. Typically we don't tested the software on a Macintosh release until we know our developers were able to take into account the release-notes.

Officially this means we haven't had a chance to test the software on the 10.6.0 platform. And it makes technical support a little nervous. Anyways I know that SMART hasn't officially approved Notebook for 10.6.0 yet but I am very curious about what it will peform like on the OS.

Thanks, Lloyd. It's nice to have an honest answer. I know I won't install the new OS until this weekend, maybe later. I'll keep an eye out here and elsewhere to see if most people show no problems using NB 10 on Snow Leopard. I'm hoping so.

Hi, really disappointed with the software team at SB for Macs. I've been asking for over a year to add the auto hide feature the PC has, to reduce the groups and give you a larger window to work in notebook. On the PC side there is a small box to check that will enlarge the work area. How hard could that be to add, yet I don't even get a response from SB. Come on peeps...

I have Snow Leopard and through the upgrade have lost the ability to type consistently in Notebook. It lets me type a few words then in order to type more, I have to restart Notebook.

This must be frustrating. Is it possible to type what you want in a text program (Word, Open Office) and then copy and paste it into Notebook? This isn't ideal but it might be a work around that you (and I) can live with.

Just spent two full days with Notebook 10 on Snow Leopard. Not cool. Frequent crashes and the aforementioned sudden inability to type or paste text. If you use SMART Notebook much, wait for an update before going to Snow Leopard.

I totally agree. Save yourself the aggravation. I have high hopes that the update on the 9th is going to cure some of the flash problems.

Is the updated expected on the 9th of September?
